Bourjois khol and contour Waterproof Eyeliner Pen Review, Photos and Swatches

Today I am talking about Bourjois waterproof eyeliner pen.

Bourjois is a well known brand worldwide and its products are raved among girls.
Bourjois khol and contour eye liner pen comes in a sleek pen shaped body which is very light weight.

Tha cap of the pen shuts tightly with a click sound so it can be carried in the bag easily.

It is a felt tip eye liner pen. The tip is little longer and thin which makes it very easy to apply eye liner in just one stroke.
Even those who find it difficult to apply eye liner , can easily apply with this felt tip liner. It works just like a pen so you have more control over your hand and you don't feel shaky.

For the beginners also felt tip liners are more convenient as compared to liquid liners in my opinion.

I am very happy with the performance of this product.

As I have mentioned in some earlier post that I like intense black eye liners that stay longer.
This eye liner pen fulfills both of my requirement.
As you can see it is an intense black color.

Secondly it is water proof.
Yes, I was a little doubtful about its long staying power. But you can see the swatch below.

The first one is soon after application.
After that I washed my hand with plain water and slightly rubbed with finger under water. You can see in this pic after washing,

So I can say its a good product. I don't feel any irritation in my eyes as it is opthalmologicaly tested. It is also a plus point.

So if you are looking for an intense black waterproof eye liner and also you want to be quick and precise in your application then you must go for this felt tip eye liner pen. You can draw amazing cat flicks with the help of it.

The only negative thing that I have noticed is that you have to keep the cap back tightly soon after using it. Other wise it will get dry quickly.

This is my second felt tip pen from the same brand. I am happy with it and I definitely will like to get it again. I got it as a gift from a friend coming from UK. So don't know about the price. I am sure it would be available at drugstores as other Bourjois products are also available there.

My today's post is short but very interesting. Maheen Khan a lagend in Pakistan fashion industry is going to launch her new collection "Gulabo" at the end of June all across Pakistan.

Maheen Khan is a well known award winner designer. Her fashion labels are The embroidery house, Maheen and Gulabo. She has done many national and international fashion events and shows.
She is well known for her embroidered for the film " snow white and the huntsman " and television series " the jewel in the crown ".

Mehwish Hasan Shoots Summer 2015 Look Book

Hope you all are feeling great.

Hair stylist and makeup artist Mahvish Hasan shot the summer 2015 look book with photographer Alee Hasan and the face of the campaign is beautiful Meera Ansari.

Mahvish Hasan trained at Tony and guy (UK) and has several years of experience in hair and makeup. Mahvish Hasan salon and spa has become the relaxing hangout for ladies looking to get pampered, in Karachi.

The summer look book demonstrates the versatile looks for outgoing and independent Pakistani women at various times of day and occasions while staying trendy and young at the same time.

Mahwish Hasan says that with this look book we want to show that how a look can be transformed from a natural day look to a glamorous look for a night out or a wedding party.

Besides beautiful hair and makeup Mera Ansari has also added an oomph to this look book.

NYX Round Lipstick Margarita Review, Photos and Swatches

Hope you are having a great time.

Its getting hot day by day. In summer I prefer soft and fresh colors in makeup (am sure every girl does).

Today I am going to review  NYX round lipstick Margarita.
Its a light peachy pink shade.

Packaging is good. A twist up cylinderical tube. Black cover with NYX written on it.

The bottom of the tube has transparent base and you can easily see the shade of the lipstick from there.

The lipstick is creamy frost finish. Has silver shimmer in it. In the tube it looks more coral but when applied on lips its more towards pink.

Before applying this lipstick you have to exfoliate your lips very well. I have noticed a dry accumulated patch of it on the inner rim of my lips after almost 2 hours which looks very bad. So I suggest to exfoliate your lips very well before applying it.

The shade looks very soft and flattering on my skin tone. Although I was little hesitant to apply it because its a cool toned color and also frost finish. But it looks good on me. I use it while going out in daytime.

The lipstick melts in hot weather so you have to keep it at cool place which is not possible specially if you are carrying it in your bag.

Also because its a frost finish , you can see an obvious sheen on your lips which some of you might not like it, I also don't prefer frost finish lipstick( I bought another shade but I was sent this one by mistake and I kept it). I try to reduce the sheen on my lips by blotting with tissue paper and it works.

Lipstick is semi opaque. You can build color in 3 to 4 swipes as desired.
It lasts for almost 2 hours on my lips which is just ok.

I bought it from Javaahir( a Facebook page) for Rs 585.

Margarita is beautiful coral pink shade. A  nice color for summer and can be paired with smokey eyes for an evening or a night out. Price is also very reasonable. Although i know i wont purchase this shade again , I think girls if you can manage with frost finish and silvery sheen lipsticks and also exfoliation must before applying then , you must try it this summer.
