My Latest MAC Haul

Hello girls,

Today I am here with another haul post.
I am a little late posting this. I got my parcel last week. But due to busy schedule couldn't post it then.

MAC products are always in the wish list of most of the girls. I also have long wish list of MAC products specially lipsticks and foundation. So I am always searching for such authentic online pages that are offering genuine MAC products at reasonable prices.

So while surfing,  I came across a page by the name Brands Arena Pk. The prices of MAC lipsticks were incredibility less as compared to many other pages.
  One of the shades that I wanted to get was available there.

Another thing I always wanted to have is Mac foundation. MAC studio fix fluid foundation was also available there, so obviously I wanted to get that too. Again the price was much reasonable as compared to many other pages.

The next step was critical i.e., selection of foundation shade. As it was my first MAC foundation so I was confused between  NC 15 and NC 20. But the page owner  was very helpful in that regard and suggested me NC 20. So  after doing a long search on net I finally opted for NC 20, which came to be a perfect match for me. And I am glad about that.

The lipstick shade I got is Kinda Sexy. The price for lipstick is  PKR 1700 and that of foundation is PKR 2650. And obviously the delivery charges of PKR 200.

Today I am going to review eye liner pencil by sweet touch. Sweet touch is a brand available locally and is affordable too. Let's see what I have to say about this eye liner pencil.

This eye pencil is silver i.e, the color of the shade itself. Silver cap closes tightly so can easily be slipped in your bag.
The pencil needs to be sharpened and some times it becomes a tough job to sharpen a creamy pencil very smoothly.

The texture of the liner is very creamy. Application is very easy and smooth. No pulling or tuggig at all.
Very well pigmented too. You can get a very good color payoff in just one swipe. More than one swipes give you a very intense color.
Good to apply both on water line and upper lash line along with black eye liner. Can also be used as an eye shadow.

As far as the staying power is concerned, it is not too good. It stays for about three hours on my eyes.
Here in the swatch you can see how well pigmented it is. Also you can see a very fine shimmer which is not too obvious.
So over all it is a good addition in my eye liner pencils. It is easily available at drugstores and affordable.

Real Techniques Core Collection Set - Buffing Brush Review, Photos

Today I am going to share my experience about buffing brush from real techniques core collection set. The reason for selecting just one brush for review is that I have been using it for quite a few months and other brushes from the set are less used as compared to this one. Now without further ado let's go to the review.

As usual first of all comes packaging. The brush set comes in plastic case which is very good to keep the brushes safe and free from dirt.
Inside plastic casing there is brush holder which is beautiful and very practical. There is a grip for every brush in the holder so that brushes don't slip and fall off the holder. This holder can also be used as a stand for the brushes too. So it is a multi purpose brush holder. It is very sleek and travel friendly making it easy to put in your purse or travel bag. I really like this holder very much.

There are four brushes in the set and I am talking about buffing brush today.

It is a dense brush with aluminium body. The color is beautiful golden. The grip of the brush is made of rubber.

The bristles are dense, very soft and fluffy.
This brush is very good at applying liquid foundation. As I don't use powder foundations because of dry skin but I surely can say that  it can work well  with powder and cream foundations too.

I apply foundation on my skin in dots form and then buff it with this brush. Believe me it makes work so easy.
Foundation blends into the skin seemlessly. Makes a flawless base for makeup.

The bristles feel soft on the skin. I did not notice any shedding of the bristles. The brush is easy to wash and also dries quickly as compared to other brushes.

Over all I am very much satisfied with the performance of the buffing brush. These days I am using only this brush for applying my liquid foundation.

I bought this brush for PKR 2600 from Javaahir, an online page. Many other pages are also offering real techniques brushes. Prices may vary at different pages.

Jergens Moisturizers Review

Hope everyone is safe and doing well.
First of all sorry for not posting last week. I was under the weather and could not write the post. But now I am fine and here is my today's review.

Winters are here and now its time to do some changes in your daily skin care regime.
Today I am sharing with you my favorite moisturizing lotions.
Jergens is a brand well known all around the world. I am using its moisturizing lotions. Let's see whether it meets my expectations or not.

Right now I have three different moisturizers frm Jergens. They are Ultra healing, Shea butter and Soothing aloe. Ultra healing and Shea butter are the ones that I use in winter. And soothing aloe is the one I use in summer.

I will start with packaging. White plastic bottle with a pump to dispense the product. I love such bottles because they are very convenient to take out the product without spillage and wastage. They are hygienic and travel friendly as well. The pump gets locked easily to take it along while you are traveling. Manufacture and expiry dates are also mentioned at the bottom.So I give full marks to packaging.

The product inside is of white color and the consistency is creamy which is not too thick making it easy to apply evenly on hands and face and any other body parts. It has a very light pleasant smell that disappears in the next couple of minutes after applying.
After application, it takes a few minutes to absorb completely into the skin. But once it is dry it gives a matte finish and soft and supple skin. Doesn't feel greasy, once dried doesn't feel like anything applied.

Jergens Shea butter is a deep conditioning moisturizer with pure African Shea butter. Penetrates into the skin and gives it radiance. I use it in winters as my skin is more dry and it replenishes depleted moisture in my skin.

Jergens Soothing aloe contains aloe vera and cucumber and it is best for summer, when my skin requires light moisturizing.

Jergens Ultra healing is for extra dry skin. I use it in extreme dry weather when my skin requires intense moisturization. It instantly relieves my skin from dryness.
I use moisturizer every time after washing my hands and face.

I love these lotions by Jergens. They have a wide range for different skin types and changing weather conditions. I don't find any negative in it and it definitely recommend for you to try it.

The Balm Cabana Boy Blush Review, Swatches

Hope you are enjoying your life.
I have been obsessed with some makeup items recently, and blushers are one of them. I absolutely love pink and coral blushes. Today I am going to talk about one of my favorite blushes. And it is Cabana boy.

I saw its swatches on many blogs and just loved it. And when I saw it on an online page, grabbed one. Now this beauty is mine.

Let's talk about the product.
It comes in a cardboard packaging with a mirror inside and magnetic lid closure.  The card board packaging is not so travel friendly, but it looks so cute.
There is no applicator brush inside but it doesn't matter as I don't use them.

It is a muted pink color with a touch of mauve and with a very slight sheen. The texture is very smooth and silky, you can really call it a buttery texture. Applies very smoothly and blends very easily. The shade is superb and translates as it is on the skin.

I must tell you that it is super pigmented so you should first take it little on the brush, blend it and then take more product if you require.
I have used it many times in the last couple of  months, and every time I liked it too much. It gives such a beautiful color to your cheeks. Perfect for both day and night time.
Also I am impressed with its staying power. I have wore it for 7-8 hours (without primer) and it was as fresh till the end. I am sure it can last for more than 8 hours with primer.

I could not find any negative in this blush. Except that its a little pricey. I bought it from an online page Javaahir for PKR 2150. I have seen it available on many online pages.
