Essence Long Lasting Lipliner In Shade 01 "Ready For Red" Review

Essence is a Germany based makeup brand and  well known for budget friendly and quality products.

Today I am talking about essence long lasting lipliner in shade 01 "Ready for red".

Let's start with packaging. It comes in a sleek retractable tube. The colour of the tube is same as that of the shade of the liner, which is very good because it is easy to pick the liner among many others placed in holder or bag. Over the colored body , brand name, shade and other details are written in silver font. The pen is easily retractable. I like these retractable pen liners because if extra bullet is twisted out then they can easily be twisted back. One more thing I like about it is that there is no need to sharpen them. The cap closes tightly with a click sound unlike liners that have loose cap and when they are put in hand bag or travel bag, they are ruined if the cap slips away from the pen. So I will give full marks to the packaging.

The bullet is round in shape. The texture is very soft and creamy. It is easily applied on the lips, no tugging or pulling at all. Formula is light weight.Due to it's creamy texture it feels soft and doesn't feel dry and tacky on lips. But I always use lip balm underneath because of my very dry lips.

The shade 01 "Ready for red" is a beautiful red shade. I use it both as lip liner and lipstick. Sometimes I also apply it underneath red lipstick to get more staying power and more vibrant shade.

It doesn't make lips dry but if your lips are dry like mine then I will suggest you to scrub your lips and apply lip balm prior to applying it. The pigmentation is very good. One application gives good colour payoff. Layring gives more vibrant colour. It gives a very nice matte finish.

Staying power is also good . It stays for around good 4-5 hours if you don't have any meals or drinks. It transfers if you eat any oily meal. But it doesn't fade away abruptly or at once. Rather it leaves behind a mild stain that looks natural.
In a very reasonable price around (PKR 200 don't remember exact price) you get a very good lip liner that has a lot of pros and just one con in my opinion and that is it doesn't survive heavy meals.

I am really happy to get essence lip liner and will get more shades soon.

Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Cream Wash Review

Today I am sharing my thoughts about a face wash. I purchased it quite a while ago and after using it now I can share my experience with you guys.

Neutrogena is a very well known brand around the world. It is an American brand and many dermatologists recommend it's  products. Today I am going to review cream face wash from their skin care range.

The product claims that it is formulated with micro clear technology that deeply cleanses the face and makes it soft and clean.

Neutrogena visibly clear pink grapefruit cream wash comes in a squeeze tube packaging. The pink and white colour of the packaging makes it attractive. It is convenient to use and travel friendly. There is no leakage from the tube whether placed upside down or laid down position, so you can easily put in your hand bag or travel bag.

The product inside is of pale pink colour. The texture is thick and creamy. I apply it on my wet face with moist hands. And massage gently all over the face for 2-3 minutes. After that I rinse it with water. During rinsing I rub my face with hands to get all the residue off.

During massage I can feel a cooling sensation on my skin that gives instant freshness. Due to it's creamy texture it slides easily all over the face. While massaging I can feel my skin is getting soft and hydrated. It doesn't feel oily at all. After washing, my skin is all clean and soft. It has a very mild pleasant smell that lingers for a couple of minutes after washing.

I am in love with this cream wash. Because of the fact that my skin is very dry in any weather conditions and it is super dry in winters. Even after washing my face with plain water for ablution my skin feels stiff and dry and I am in desperate need to apply moisturizer to make it behave well.
But believe me after washing with Neutrogena creme wash my skin doesn't get stiff or dry, rather it feels soft and smooth. I can feel that it starts hydrating my face the time I start massaging. It means that it does not strip away natural oils from my skin, and hydrates it during wash process, that is a biggest plus point for a face wash.My skin neither feels oily nor dry after washing. I am really hooked to it.

The price of this cream wash was around PKR 1100. I don't remember it exactly because I purchased it almost a year ago. Price might be different these days. I got it from D Watson. I know it is on pricier side but worth each penny. If you are not on a budget and looking for good face wash options then do give it a try. I am sure you won't regret it. I am definitely going to purchase it again once it is finished.

Today I am sharing my thoughts about one of my favorite products from makeup revolution. Makeup Revolution is an internationally renowned brand.It is a budget friendly and cruelty free UK based brand. They claim that they do not test their products on animals at any stage.  I really love all the products that I own from this brand.
Now without further ado let's start today's review.

Let me admit that in fact I bought this blusher just because of it's adorable packaging. It has a beautiful heart shaped card board casing that looks super cute. The packaging is inspired from the too faced sweethearts perfect flush blush.When you open the lid you find a heart shaped pan with three separate strips of blushes. You can use them separately or swirl them, whatever you like. These three colours are in peach, pink and apricot shades.

The texture of this triple baked blusher is very silky and smooth. The colours are very pigmented and there is no fall out in the pan. You can see in the pictures that the finish of this blusher has a sheen just like that of highlighter, that is why I am not using it as a blusher, rather I am  using it as a highlighter. The colours in this blusher are perfect to use as a highlighter. Another reason is it's frosty finish that I don't like in blushers but looks good in highlighter. I really love these three shades and use them according to occasion and time. Sometimes separately and sometimes swirl them all with brush and apply.

The pigmentation is so good that a little swipe of brush is enough to cover cheek bones area. I am sure that this product will last for a long time. Whether used separately or mixed, the product shines beautifully. The camera could not capture the true shine that it reflects. And the best thing is that there are no  glitter particles at all. Infact I am in love with it's pigmentation and colour selection. You can say it was love at first sight with colours and packaging when I saw it in store. And I didn't waste a minute to get it. It was unplanned purchase and I never regret it.

I always use it as a highlighter and happy with the results. Lasting power is too good. It stays on forever😃. I mean I have tried it for more than 8 hours and it stays put till last minute. Overall it a very beautiful addition in my makeup stash and I am in love with it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes to use highlighters. Because it has so gorgeous shades that can flatter any skin tone.

Hope all is good at your end. Weather has changed a lot. This fall season is so beautiful with so many colours around and a nice weather neither hot nor cold , perfect for any outdoor activities. I love this transitioning weather from summers to winters. It is so colourful and has it's own beauty.😃

Today I am back after a long time with a hair product review. You must have read and heard a lot about John Frieda frizz ease conditioner. And now it is my turn to talk about it.Although I am a bit late for posting this review because I am using it since more than a year. But I think it is a perfect time to share my thoughts on it.

John Frieda frizz ease flawlessly straight conditioner comes in a white and purple squeeze tube with a flip cap. The packaging is very easy to use and travel friendly. The cap shuts tightly so there is no wastage of product.

The product inside is of white colour with thick creamy texture. After washing my hair with shampoo I apply this conditioner on my wet hair and than leave for almost 8-10 minutes. And than rinse my hair thoroughly until all conditioner gets washed and my hair are squeaky clean.

Now I come to the main part that is what it claims. You can clearly see in the picture that this conditioner claims to soften coarse , unruly texture and boosts shine for a touchably sleek style.

Now before giving my word I would like to tell about my hair texture. My hair are long, they are shiny and straight from roots till the midway. For quite some time I am experiencing little frizzy and dry hair from midway length till the ends. Let me say again that they are not very dry and frizzy, just a little.

After using this conditioner my hair do get soft and frizz is also reduced. It becomes easy to detangle my hair every time I brush them. But unluckily it doesn't make my hair super shiny and sleek. This is what I am looking for in a conditioner besides making my hair soft and frizz free. The price of this 295ml tube is     PKR 700. I have tried many other conditioners as well and they did equally good or a little better job in much economical price. Believe me I was expecting something extra ordinary from this much hyped conditioner. It claims to make hair glossier and flawlessly straight, but shine that it gives is same as after washing with shampoo only. One more thing is that it is pricier as compared to many other good brands available in the market.

So in other words you can say I was disappointed after using it. Now it is about to finish and I am in search of some other conditioner that meets my expectations of making my hair frizz free, sleek and shiny at the same time. Definitely not purchasing it again.
