All Natural Home Made Face Packs For Oily Skin

Hi everyone,

Today I am here with some diy natural face packs for oily skin. In my previous post I talked about dry skin and some home remedies to prevent and care for it. If you are also suffering from dry skin issues and need some home remedies then you can read my post
here .

Oily skin becomes very problematic because of excessive oil production. It not only looks greasy but also prone to break outs, black heads and white heads. Today I am sharing some natural home made masks for oily skin. After regularly applying these masks your skin will not only look fresh but these masks will also help you to keep oil at the bay.

**1. Yogurt And Lemon Face Pack:
Citric acid in lemon helps reduce the oil production. Yogurt is also good for skin it acts as a natural cleanser. For the mask take 2-3 table spoons of yogurt and squeeze one lemon juice. Mix them well. Apply on clean, dry face. Leave for 20 minutes. Wash with plain water and use oil free moisturizer afterwards.

**2. Gram Flour, Turmeric Face Pack:
Gram flour is very good for oily skin. Turmeric has anti bacterial properties. Lemon juice stops oil production. This mask is very good for acne prone skin. It will also act as an exfoliating scrub. For the mask add two table spoons of gram flour, half tea spoon of turmeric powder and one lemon juice. Mix all ingredients well. Apply on clean and dry face. Leave for about 20 minutes. While washing rub the mask to work as exfoliant. Use oil free moisturizer afterwards.

**3. Fuller's Earth Clay Face Pack:
Fuller's Earth Clay is one of the best ingredients for oily skin mask. It absorbs all the sebum from the pores. For best results you can add lemon juice as well. Take two table spoons of Fuller's Earth Clay and squeeze one lemon juice in it. Mix well. Apply on clean and dry skin. Leave it for 20-25 minutes. Wash with plain water and use oil free moisturizer.

**4. Baking Soda And Lemon Face Pack:
Apply this face pack once a week to keep oil at the bay. Don't use this face pack more than once a week because excessive use of baking soda will make your skin dry. For face pack take two table spoons of baking soda and one lemon juice. Mix them well and apply on clean dry face. Wash with plain water and use oil free moisturizer.

This was all for today. Hope it will be helpful for you guys. Trust me there is nothing like natural remedies when it comes to your body and skin.

Take care , stay happy and remember me in your prayers.

All Natural Miracle Face Masks For Dry Skin

Hello everyone,

Dry skin is a big problem specially in winter season. It can cause skin looking dull and dark. In winter season there is less moisture in the air and and with the excessive use of hot water our skin is unable to retain moisture. If the skin is not hydrated properly it can cause severe problems like eczema etc. Besides using intensive moisturizer and hydrating creams and drinking plenty of water, today I am sharing some home made masks (for dry skin), to get baby soft skin. If you are a person who loves natural products like me, then you don't need to go anywhere, you will get everything in your kitchen. So without further ado let's start today's post.

Banana And Honey Mask:

Banana is a favourite fruit of all ages. It is rich in potassium and vitamin E. Honey has anti bacterial properties and it softens the skin. For the mask peel one banana in a bowl and mash it. Add two spoons of honey in it. Blend them with a whisk and make a thick creamy paste. Apply on your clean face, neck and hands. Leave it for 20 minutes. Rinse with Luke warm water. And apply moisturizer soon after patting dry to lock in the moisture.

Aloe vera And Cream Mask:

Aloe vera is considered best to moisturize dry skin. Aloe vera gel has healing properties. Milk cream moisturizes the skin. For the mask add two table spoons of aloevera gel and two table spoons of fresh milk cream. Mix them to form a paste. Apply it on your clean face. You might feel a tingly sensation when you apply aloe vera gel on the face, but it is normal. Leave it for about 15- 20 minutes. Wash with normal water. Pat dry your face and use moisturizing cream or lotion.

Honey And Milk Cream Mask:

As I have mentioned earlier honey has anti bacterial and moisturizing properties and milk cream is also moisturizing. They together make skin very baby soft and also lighten it. For mask add two table spoons of honey and two table spoons of fresh cream. Make a paste out of them. Apply on clean and dry face. You can also apply it on neck and hands. Leave it for about 15-20 minutes. Wash with water. You might find it a bit sticky to wash off due to both ingredients. But don't worry you can use Luke warm water to wash off. Use a moisturizer afterwards.

Aloe Vera And Egg Mask:

This mask is also very good for moisturizing dry skin. Eggs are also good for tightening the skin and reducing fine lines. Take two spoons of aloe vera gel and one egg. Mix them well in a bowl to make a uniform consistency. Apply on your face and neck. Leave it for 20- 25 minutes. Wash with water and apply moisturizer.

That is all about home made masks for dry flaky skin. You can use any ingredients that suits your skin. There are no side effects because of all ingredients being natural. Always make sure to tie your hair backwards before applying any mask. And after washing never forget to apply moisturizer to lock all the moisture in your skin making it more soft and fresh looking. For best results use these mask twice a week or at least once a week according to your skin requirements.

Take care and stay happy.

Tips For Skin Care In Winters

Hello everyone,

After a long scortching months of summer I am sure that all of us wait for winters. Winter has so many attractions like long cold nights, sitting in cozy warm blankets or in couches having dry fruits and gossiping with friends or family, sipping hot cuppa coffee while watching your favorite late night show, sitting in your lawn or gallery and soaking enough vitamin D in direct sunlight, sipping chicken corn soup in chilly nights..... .......and so much more.

Winters bring so much fun along. But besides all these fun activities there are some problems too that come along with winters and the top most is dry itchy skin, dandruff, skin tan etc.

Today I am here with some very easy and useful skin care tips. Keep in mind that my today's post is specially dedicated to all those who have dry skin like mine.So without further ado let's start today's discussion.

I shall start with skin dryness. Although whole body skin suffers dryness in this dry weather but face, hands and feet suffer more due to more washing.

**If you have extremely dry and flaky skin than massage your body with oil before taking bath. You can use any oil you like for example olive , almond , coconut oil etc. It will take away all the flakes from the skin making it clean . Because these flakes don't let any product to penetrate deeply in the skin so it is important to make your skin clean and flakes free.

**Always take shower with Luke warm water. If you like to take shower with hot water than don't prolong your showers. This extra hot water takes away all the moisture from our skin making it extremely dry.

** In winter always change your moisturizer and use the one that provides intense hydration. Mild ones work best in summer but they don't fulfill our skin's requirements in dry and cold weather. So it is better to change according to the weather.

** Moisturize your face, hands and feet after every wash. Use more hydrating and intensive moisturizer at night. You can also add a few drops of your favorite oil in your moisturizer for night time.

**Use a foot cream for your feet and apply it daily. Don't let your heels get cracked due to neglegance. Because cracked heels look very ugly.

**If you have cracked heels than use petroleum jelly every night before going to bed. Apply them on your heels and other cracked and dry areas of your feet , cover them in socks and leave them overnight. Do it daily and you will see results in a week.

**Exfoliate your face, lips, hands and feet regularly to remove all the dead skin and dry flakes. The best time to exfoliate is when you are taking shower.

**Never forget to apply lip balm after ever two hours like I do 'coz I have extremely dry lips and they get flaky if I don't moisturize them. I also apply petroleum jelly on my lips to get more soft lips.

** Use DIY hydrating masks like honey, almond oil, olive oil, fresh cream, yogurt, aloe vera etc on weekly basis to get a soft, smooth skin.

** Never forget to apply sunscreen before stepping out in the sun.

** Remember moisturize, moisturize and moisturize again and again. This is the only key to soft, supple and problem free skin in cold.

Now coming to hair, the biggest problem of hair in winter is dandruff. It causes lot of other problems like itching, hairfall etc.

** If you have thick dandruff flakes in your scalp then you need to get rid of them first. No oil can penetrate in the pores with thick flaky scalp. So first of all exfoliate your scalp with a brush or a comb. Rub the bristles of the brush or tooth of the comb deep in the roots at the scalp. Keep in mind don't rub too hard or you will hurt your scalp. Rub with gentle hands. If you feel that dandruff is too stubborn to get off than apply some oil before hand, it will get soft and will easily be removed.

** Always mix 2 or three oils to get maximum benefits and healthy hair. Coconut oil is one of the best for long, healthy and shiny hair from my personal experience.

**For best results heat the oil to make it little warm and then apply in the roots. In this way it will penetrate in the scalp easily. Leave it for at least three hours and than shampoo your hair. Oiling your hair twice a week will keep the dandruff at the bay.

**Never wash your hair with warm water. Warm water steals all the moisture and makes them frizzy. If necessary like in chilly weather only use Luke warm water for washing hair.

Keep your water intake at least 8 glass in winters as well to keep our body and skin hydrated. In winter we don't feel thirst and drink less water that also results in dryness of skin. Indoor heating systems also aggregate the condition. So drinking plenty of water is a must.

That is all about today. I hope my today's tips will help anyone who is suffering from dry skin issues. Remember that these are all home remedies to combat the situation but if you have any serious issues that are getting worse than you should consult a dermatologist as soon as possible.

Take care and stay happy 😃.

Dr. Rashel Black Peel Off Mask Review

Hello guys,

I am very choosy about skin care products for me. Because my skin is very dry, and I don't want to loose my skin's moisture by using wrong products.
I mostly use home made remedies for my face and hair specially when it comes to face masks and hair oils. Because I know what works best for me and believe me my home made remedies work more effectively as compared to any other branded products.
I am always looking for products that provide proper hydration to my skin. I always notice how my skin feels after using any skin related product, if it hydrates than it is for me and other wise it is not.

Today I am reviewing black peel off mask by Dr. Rashel. I mostly use home made masks for my face. I have some black heads only at the tip of the nose and I clean them regularly by using black head removing tool, and it serves best. These black charcoal masks are at the rage these days and every one is using them. So I also wanted to try one for myself but not for black heads. I wanted one that could hydrate my skin besides removing any  impurities or clogged pores.

Dr. Rashel black peel off mask

Let's start with packaging. It comes in a card board outer packaging. Mask is contained in a squeeze tube with a flip cap. It is very convenient to squeeze out the product. The cap closes tightly and there is no leakage of the product at all.

The mask has a soft consistency, neither too thick nor too thin or liquidy. It has a bit flowy consistency. But still it doesn't flow or leak out of the cap.

You can apply it on the specific area of the face like nose , forehead or chin. But I apply it on my full face. Here is a tip. Before applying such masks you should steam your face so that pores get open. In this way you can get maximum results and the mask will take away all the impurities from within the pores as well.
After patting dry my face I apply it in thin layers on the face. It feels wet as soon as you apply it. As the time goes on it starts getting dry. I left it on my face for a good 15-20 minutes and then i pull it from the edges of my face. It is very easily removed after getting dry. Wash your face afterwards to clean any residue.

After removing I could see a few white heads on the peeled mask. As I have mentioned earlier that I use black heads removal tool to remove black heads from my nose tip area, and it is the best method with 100% results. So my face doesn't need much clean up. But It did a decent job in two ways. First is that it didn't make my skin dry and secondly it brightened up my face.

You can see in pics where I have removed mask from my hand , that area is neat and brighter from the rest of my hand.

I cannot say anything surely about it's black head removing claim, but
it really brightens up my face and gives the skin more neat and fresh look. Secondly it does not make my skin dry after removing the mask. So it is also a plus point.

Overall it does perform a decent job, but if you have a lot of black heads or problem skin that it will not give 100% results. Definitely I will not purchase it again and I will stick to my home made masks that are all natural and result oriented.

What is your favorite mask for your skin type? Give your feedback in comments section.
Take care.

Essence Long Lasting Lipliner In Shade 01 "Ready For Red" Review

Hi everyone,

Do you think a lip liner is unnecessary? Think again! This makeup tool instantly transforms your lips, and amps up your lip game to a whole new level. In my opinion It is  a must-have for two specific reasons ;
*if you want more definition
*if you like your favorite lipstick to stay on for a longer time without bleeding.

Essence is a Germany based makeup brand and  well known for budget friendly and quality products.

Today I am talking about essence long lasting lipliner in shade 01 "Ready for red".

Let's start with packaging. It comes in a sleek retractable tube. The colour of the tube is same as that of the shade of the liner, which is very good because it is easy to pick the liner among many others placed in holder or bag. Over the colored body , brand name, shade and other details are written in silver font. The pen is easily retractable. I like these retractable pen liners because if extra bullet is twisted out then they can easily be twisted back. One more thing I like about it is that there is no need to sharpen them. The cap closes tightly with a click sound unlike liners that have loose cap and when they are put in hand bag or travel bag, they are ruined if the cap slips away from the pen. So I will give full marks to the packaging.

Essence long lasting lipliner

The bullet is round in shape. The texture is very soft and creamy. It is easily applied on the lips, no tugging or pulling at all. Formula is light weight.Due to it's creamy texture it feels soft and doesn't feel dry and tacky on lips. But I always use lip balm underneath because of my very dry lips.

The shade 01 "Ready for red" is a beautiful red shade. I use it both as lip liner and lipstick. Sometimes I also apply it underneath red lipstick to get more staying power and more vibrant shade.

It doesn't make lips dry but if your lips are dry like mine then I will suggest you to scrub your lips and apply lip balm prior to applying it. The pigmentation is very good. One application gives good colour payoff. Layring gives more vibrant colour. It gives a very nice matte finish.

Staying power is also good . It stays for around good 4-5 hours if you don't have any meals or drinks. It transfers if you eat any oily meal. But it doesn't fade away abruptly or at once. Rather it leaves behind a mild stain that looks natural.
In a very reasonable price around (PKR 200 don't remember exact price) you get a very good lip liner that has a lot of pros and just one con in my opinion and that is it doesn't survive heavy meals.

I am really happy to get essence lip liner and will get more shades soon.

Have a good day.😃
