My Favorite Products Of The Year 2015

Hope you all are having a great time. Today I am talking about my favorite products that I used last year regarding makeup and skin/hair care items. Although I am a little late posting this, because it took some time while compiling all favorite products.
So without further ado let's talk about them.

I will start with skin care.
First of all comes moisturizers.

*1. Jergens moisturizers:
I really love this brand in terms of their range of moisturizers. They have something for all skin types and for changing seasonal requirements too. Jergens Ultra healing and Shea butter are my all time favorite.

*2. Neutrogena Ultra sheer dry touch sun screen:
I am very much satisfied with its use. It gives a matte finish and feels very light like there is nothing on the skin. I have done a detailed review on it.

*3 Timotei shimmer shine shampoo:
My favorite shampoo since last four years. Although I tried another brand too but after regretting that purchase I returned back to this.
I really like the way it makes my hair soft and shiny.

*4. Avon super shock gel eye liner:
I love jet black long lasting eye liners and it is all about it.

*5. Bourjois 123 perfect foundation:
I have recently done a detailed review on it. I like its finish that is very soft and light, its coverage, longevity and its color correcting pigments. It's all in one.

*6. The balm blush cabana boy:
What a beautiful shade I must say. It was my most reached blush last year.

*7. MAC lipstick Chatterbox:
Again it was my most reached at lipstick.
It is a beautiful pink shade that instantly freshens up my face. Love it.

*8. The balm highlighter Mary loumanizer:
O boy it us such a beauty. I don't have words to explain my love for this. It has become my staple since I got it.  If i start ranking my favorite products then it will get top most position among these. A detailed review of this beauty will be up very soon InshaAllah.

*9. Rimmel glam eyes day to night mascara:
I have used this mascara mostly whenever I needed to. It has two separate wands for lengthening and volumizing. Although the one that adds volume does clump my lashes and I don't like it much but the one for lengthening is my favorite. It makes my lashes prominent naturally without feeling heavy or making them clumpy. It's detailed review will also be up soon.

Bourjois 123 Perfect Foundation Review , Photos , Swatches

Hello Ladies,


Today I am reviewing Bourjois 123 perfect foundation. Before purchasing it, I was a little hesitant to get it because it is a total matte finish foundation and my skin is very dry. But then I decided to try my luck after reading some positive reviews about it.
So without further ado, let's talk about the product.

It comes in a glass bottle with a pump to dispense the product. I love such pump bottles because they are very convenient to use and hygienic as well. Well you need to be careful in handling that glass bottle.
But I like its packaging specially pump dispenser.


It is a perfect matte finish foundation specially for Ladies having oily skin. But girls with dry skin can also wear it and flaunt a flawless skin. The key to this is moisturizing very well before its application. I repeat "moisturise very well". If a smallest spot of dryness is left on your skin, then it will accentuate it very badly. It sets to a matte powder finish but doesn't look or feel cakey and feels very light on the skin.


This is my go to foundation these days. I moisturize my skin very well before applying it. In addition I mix a little moisturizer and foundation on the back of my hand and then apply it on my face. The reason for doing this is that it sets very quickly so in this way I get a little time to blend it and also it gives extra moisture and locks it in my skin.

Another very important thing about this foundation is that it claims to have three color correction pigments.
1* yellow pigments
     anti dark circles
2* mauve pigments
     anti dullness
3*green pigments
     anti redness


I am glad that these pigments really work.  I don't need to use concealer under my eyes. But if you have some very nasty zits  or spots then you might need concealer on those areas. Also it sets to a powder finish so I don't use compact powder. So in fact it saves a lot of time for me by skipping the steps of concealer and compact powder. That is why it is my HG foundation these days.

Blended

The shade 51 light vanilla is a good match for my skin, but I wanna try 52 as well.
The consistency is not runny, rather it is slightly thick which is easy to handle and blend. It has a mild smell that is not bothersome and disappears in couple of minutes.
Staying power is also very good, it claims for 16 hrs. I didn't try for so long time but I am sure it can last that longer. Stayed on my skin from noon till late night. Also it doesn't transfer either. I think staying power is variable depending upon the type of your skin.
It doesn't oxidize at all. And coverage is medium yet buildable. It lasts longer and it is very good for our hot humid weather in summer.


I bought it for PKR 2250 from Shaheen chemist.
Overall it is a very good foundation for oily skin people. But girls having dry skin can also use it after intensely moisturizing their skin like I am using it and I am vary happy with the results.

Fall /Winter Tag

Hi girls,

Hope you all are fine. Today I am going to do a tag post. I was nominated by my sweet fellow blogger Kinz Ali of Glamorous without the guilt, for fall tag, a few weeks back. Although I am little late for this post. I am doing it for fall and winter, coz fall is over.
I would like to thank Kinz Ali for tagging me for this post and I am really excited doing it.


Now coming to the questions and their answers.

*1. What is your favorite fall/ winter Lip product?

A Lip balm is my all seasons product. Because I always need it desperately. But talking about lipstick and specific shade then in winters I love wearing red shade. Although I was hesitant wearing this color two years back. But now I love wearing russian red by MAC confidentaly and it looks beautiful.


*2. Favorite drink for fall/winter?

Well there is only one answer to this question and it is coffee.


*3. Favorite fall/winter nail polish?

In the past I used to love wearing nail polish so much that sometimes I changed my nail color daily. But now I wear it very rarely. There is no specific shade I would prefer , it all depends on my mood and occasions. As winter season is mostly weddings season so a dull gold color can go with most of the dresses , a pastel/ nude shade for day time is best.


*4. Favorite Fall/ winter candle?

I am in love with chocolates. I can't resist chocolate and its divine smell. What else is better than having its yummy smell in the air.


*5. A haunted house, a haunted hay ride or a haunted corn maze?

I am not scared of any of these things. No such experience as well. Being a Muslim, if I feel any fear at any time then reciting "Ayat ul Kursi" or "Darood Shareef" is the best thing for me.


*6. Favorite scarf/accessory for fall/winters?

I like scarves very much. It can be wore in so many different ways. But my favorite thing that I wear most is not an accessory, it is a jeans of stone grey color. I really love wearing it in winters.


*7. Favorite candy?

Well I can eat any candy/ sweet having chocolate in it.


*8. Favorite horror movie?

I don't watch horror movies that much so there is nothing specific.


*9. Favorite blush for fall?

My favorite blush for this season is cabana boy by the balm cosmetics. It looks perfect for both day and night time. And I use it mostly these days.


*10. Favorite thing about fall?

Most of the people take it as very dull and boring season. But I love fall and winter season too just like spring. In fall the leaves change their colors and then fall. We can see many shades of red, brown, orange, yellow and gold in those fallen leaves. So colorful indeed. Also like walking on dry leaves.
I love long winter nights with a cup of coffee and favorite movie. I also love to go for a long drive in cold winter rainy evening and then having steamy hot soup while sitting in the car watching raindrops through the glass.
