Christine Ey Style Liquid Eye Liner Review, Swatches

Hi sweetz,

Hope you all are having a great time.

Girls today I am going to review an eye liner which is very affordable and easily available. It's Christine liquid eye liner in blue.

Christine eye liner

I will start with the packaging. Just like other liquid liners, glass bottle but its size is slightly bigger as compared to others.Which is a good point, but the quantity is not mentioned so I cannot say whether it contains more product or not.
It claims to be water proof and hypoallergenic, written on the bottle.

This is my first eye liner of this brand. Frankly I had not much expectations from it. The colour is very beautiful blue which is very good for spring/summer. It applies very smoothly. I like its brush very much. Very slim brush which is perfect for precise application.

Now comes the most important part. The staying power is well....OK. I have not tested it for longer time period.
But it does not fulfill its two claims. It's not water proof. And not hypoallergenic as well. My eyes are very sensitive and it does sting badly in my eyes. And also it is washed away with plain water.

If you want a water proof liner and you have very sensitive eyes like mine then its not for you.
Overall it's a reasonable product with price tag of PKR 200 only. Available in more colors as well. Good for experimenting with different colors at low price.

That's all about it girls. Have you ever used these liners? Do give me your feedback.

Take care and stay happy.

My Latest Haul For Eid ul Azha

Hi lovelies,

Hope you all are good.
Just two days left in Eid-ul-Azha. You all must be doing shopping these days. There is hustle and bustle in markets and shopping malls. Many brands are offering sale on their products like Chen one, Alkaram studios, Ideas by Gul Ahmed etc.

I also did some shopping. Although I am a girl who loves shopping and can spend hours in it, but in these days when shops are full of customers, it is very difficult to shop with calm and in a relaxed manner. So I just grabbed a few things.

Here are things that I purchased.
I got two stitched dresses from Alkaram studios. I just wanted some intricate embroidered in soft colours, to wear in this humid weather. So here they are.

I also bought an easy and comfortable pair of shoes in nude color, because already have sandals and flats for festive occasions. So have a look. Purchased from ecs.

Have you done your shopping for eid?

Take care , stay blessed and advance Eid Mubarik to all Muslims around the world.

Kryolan TV Paint Stick Review, Swatches

Hi girls,

Hope all are well and happy.
Today I am going to review Kryolan TV paint stick. Kryolan is a very well known brand that offers quality products in affordable range.
Kryolan TV paint stick is cream foundation in  stick form. The shade that I got is ivory that perfectly suits my skin tone.

Kryolan TV paint stick is very popular to be used on brides and for photography purposes. The reason is that it provides medium to full coverage. Online it is available in more than 200 shades.

This paint stick is available in cylindrical form. Inside there is twist up stick. The cap also closes tightly , so it is travel friendly. The packaging is good enough.

Basically it is a cream foundation in stick form. It gives medium to full coverage depending on your requirements. So it is mostly used for parties and weddings.

Coming to my experience of this stick , I always moisturize my skin before applying it because my skin is dry. Also the stick is of thick creamy consistency so moisturizing always makes the blending easier. I always apply it in the form of small dots on face and neck and then blend it with wet sponge.

Most of the girls think that using stick foundation will make them looking cakey. But trust me if you apply it in proper way it will give you flawless skin. So the first step is to moisturize properly. Secondly use primer to make it long lasting. Then most important step is to apply in little quantity and in the form of dots. Then blend it with brush or fingers or wet sponge, whatever you feel comfortable with. And after blending apply more if required. Using too much in first step ends up looking cakey.
The most important thing here is blending. I always use a wet sponge for blending this foundation and it gives me best results.

After blending properly it gives you a beautiful matte finish. I mostly use it when I need full coverage and it always gives me my desired results.
I also use it as a concealer when I am applying minimum makeup but need to cover my problem areas like under eyes. After that I use my compact powder only and it gives very good results.
Overall I like this stick very much for full coverage. And I don't hesitate using it for this purpose.

It is available easily at drugstores at affordable price. I bought mine from Dwatson for PKR 800 in ivory shade, almost a year back. Now it is around PKR 1200.

That's all for today girls. Hope you like my post. Comment below about your experience. Love to read them and reply.

Take care and stay blessed.

My First Beauty Bloggers Award

Hi beauties,

Hope you all are doing well.

My today's post is very very special. I have been nominated for beauty bloggers award by Minsa Hassan of Fashion Blitz. This is my first ever award in blogging. I am very happy and excited about it.

Let's get to the rules:
* Thank and follow the blog that has nominated you.
* Display the award on your blog.
* Answer 10 questions given by the blogger who nominated you.
* Nominate bloggers for the award and link them.
* Create ten questions for the bloggers that you have nominated.

So first of all I would like to thank Minsa Hassan of Fashion Blitz for nominating me. You are a beautiful girl with a beautiful heart and a sweet friend.

Now coming to the answers of the questions .

1. How many people have you told about your blog in real life?

Honestly just a few people around me know that I have started blogging. In the beginning I told a friend about it and she was like... Blogging..... what is that thing?
So after that I haven't told any one. One reason also for that is girls like and appreciate what I am writing because they really like it and find it interesting to read not just because they are my friends and I have asked them to like and follow my blog.
But with the passage of time people will start knowing because I am planning to give more time to my blog

2. How many foundations do you own?

Well i have tested many brands for foundation uptill now but frankly speaking I don't own much foundations right now. The reason for this is that foundation is my first love in makeup items. Because I love flawless skin, if your skin is looking beautiful you can create a beautiful look with minimal makeup. Every time I purchase a new foundation I try to use it in different weather conditions and by using alone and mixing and matching with other foundations. So if I own too much of them then I won't be doing justice if any one of them is waiting in my stash for its turn to be used. So here are foundations that I own right now.

*Kryolan TV paint stick
*Avon liquid foundation
*Olay (almost finished)
*Lakme absolute face stylist foundation
*Loreal( just a little left)
*Bourjois 123 perfect foundation

3. How much time do you spend doing your make up on daily basis?

Well I don't apply makeup when I am staying at home. On daily basis I only use my moisturiser and black eye pencil on my lower lash line and sometimes along my upper lash line and a lip balm that's all about it. So it takes 2-3 minutes only.
And if going outside , then I get ready in 15-20 minutes maximum. But for special occasions like weddings and parties I take more time to get ready properly.

4. What is your favorite eye shadow color?

Well I am a person who loves both intense smokey eyes and soft and subtle look as well. So there is no specific shade, it all depends on occasion, time and mood. Sometimes black, bronze and copper and sometimes soft and nude shades.

5. What is your favorite makeup brush?

Well I have not tested too many brands of brushes. But these days I am trying RT's core collection set. And I think it's buffing brush is going to be my favorite brush.

6. When you go to a drugstore  what brand you look for first?

There is no specific brand that I am looking for. Other than some of my staple items and their repurchase, I am always looking for better products.

7. What was your first make up item?

As far as I remember my first make up item was peach lipstick. I don't remember the brand now. But it was a very beautiful soft peach color.
I am still obsessed with peach lipsticks and blushes.

8. Do you regularly or have ever self tanned?

Self tanning ..... no not at all. My skin is so sensitive to sun exposure that if I spend only five minutes in direct sunlight then it gets tanned. So there is no question of tanning at all.

9. How do you feel about over drawn lips?

Well over drawn lips are a big No No for me. I personally think that makeup is just done to enhance your natural features, we shall not try to change the shape of our  features.
But yes if some girl has very thin lips then she should try this.
But Alhamdolillah i like the natural shape of my lips.

10. Do you contour on daily basis?

No not on daily basis. I think my face doesnt need much contouring but still i contour a little only when I get ready for special occasions like weddings, parties and where a lot of photography will be done.
Because contouring gives good results in pictures.

So girls that was all about my answers. I hope you enjoyed reading them.

Further Nominations:
I nominate following bloggers for Beauty Bloggers Award;

1.Kanwal Ikram of Kanwal world of beauty

2.Farya Khan of beauty and the dew drop

3.Sana Malik of Makeupoholics

 www.makeupoholics.blogspot.com

http://www.kanwalworldofbeauty.blogspot.com
 Beautyanddewdrop.blogspot.com

Wanted to nominate some other fellow Bloggers too, but they are already nominated.

Now my questions to these Bloggers are as follows:
1.How did you get into blogging?
2. What is your personal sense of style?
3.What is your staple makeup item that you can't live without?
4.Which is your biggest crush regarding makeup related items?
5. Are you a brand conscious person ?
6. Any craze other than makeup and fashion?
7. If you were given a chance to shop from your favorite store/place, any where in the world , where would you like to go and which brands will you buy?
8. What is your biggest wish/dream (other than makeup/blogging)?
9. Are you a short tempered or a cool dude and how do you manage with negative people/ criticizm in your life?
10.What suggestions would you like to give regarding blogging?

Girls I have formulated these questions that not only cater our common love i.e, makeup and fashion but also I would be able to know about you more as a person. So bear with me if you find anything boring here.

That was all about today's post. Girls I would love to get your feedback on this.

Till next post take care and stay happy.
